Oh My Gosh- bet you thought I fell off the earth eh?
Sorry, but I didn't re-join QCA and am sticking to this forum and since then (April) I could NOT get onto the site (!?). Today I tried again and Voila` I got to post!

I am so excited for the ones who get to go to the retreat, here in Oregon, in Oct. and will definitely try and get to come over for a visit.

I have been quilting away and actually won 2 ribbons in our last quilt show in my fair city!

Am doing a Block of the month class at Country Bumpkin Quilt Shop Eugene,OR also.  Any way I missed seeing your beautiful work, ladies! And getting the kind encouragement you have always offered me.  Pam

OOps, I forgot to ask....how do I find the 'retreats group' I am lost!

Edited RIGHT AFTER I posted:
As Roseann Roseannadanna used to say ..."Never mind...."

I found it.

Today I put the borders with cornerstones on baby quilt and to my amazement they came out ok.  Must be because of all the practise on the log cabin blocks.  Tomorrow I take my car for repair, but maybe over weekend I'll be able to get it sandwiched.

I wanted to thank everyone again for all their comments!  Read them last night to DH and I think he looks at my quilts in a better light now.

Thanks Agnes. I have three more memory quilts to make for my friend's daughters and grans. As you can see, her DH had lots of shirts. I'm trying to make things with every bits I have. These big stars would work faster.

Bonita:

Agnes, beautiful job on the stars. I always look forward to your quilts.

Bonita--Thank you. I am on a self imposed slow down so even I have to wait longer until the next unveiling will happen. I am doing a lot more reading these days.

I haven't worked on a quilt yet today.  But I finished a bag I started last Sunday.  Cut it out with a friend and we went to the "bag lady" class at the LQS.  This is called the classmate, but I added a couple pockets on the outside.  Actually 3 pockets.  On the bag, all the zippered pockets have another pocket behind them.  I think there are 9 pockets total. I am going to use it to hold an English paper piecing wall hanging I am making for my daughter.   So, here it is closed, the open inside and open back.

Thanks, Patti. Did you catch both? I am keeping the small one. The larger one is for my grandson.
