It sounds like there are more than enough quilt blocks being made.   I'd like to make one too.  Mine could easily be made into a pillow however.   With that leg, Marge may be wanting some pillows as well.   If we come up with an odd number of blocks, I can make pillows.

Maybe extra blocks could be pieced into the back.

Patti, right now we have 27 blocks being made, so it's a 5 X 5 with two extra...but I'm actually hoping to get 3 more people so I can make it 5 X 6.  If you would like to make a block, we'll only need 2 more.  I was planning on making up the difference anyway, so let me know what you would like to do, send a block or make a pillow.

It's really neat to see all the different skill levels of everyone, and the different thoughts that go into all of the blocks. I will be making mine today and hope to send it out tomorrow. I am not great with triangles, this is something I need to work on, and paper piecing I thought I had it down, but need to learn more about it.

I don't know about you all, but I am rather enjoying this. I don't wish ill on anyone, but I do think if anyone else knows of someone that needs a quilt, please post. I myself don't have the ability to put one together, but so many of us have extra fabric and the time to do a block..besides it's fun.

I made two blocks, same very simple pattern but that's because of the fabric that insisted "it would be just right." I'm feeling mine would be better on the back than front. I'm working with my new machine and I have had a horrible time getting my quarter inch just right. I feel like I'm a new beginner. About all I've pieced on this machine is the memory quilt with shirt fabrics and that is an added nightmare. So there's lots of fudging. The block for Marge's quilt doesn't need the same treatment. I'll see what the weekend brings as I have to wait till Monday to mail them anyway.

zsofia--what a lovely block.
