Oh my heart is just breaking for Kristin, she surely needs to feel all the love from that quilt today.

Here's an update she just sent:

"I am dying on the inside.  The new neurostimulator does not work.

That's all I can say for now ......."

Thoughts and prayers going out for comfort for her today.

Thanks for the update.  Many prayers for Kristen and her DH.  So sad ...  I had so hoped that it would work.

Kristin, is it tremors they are trying to control?  Look at what they are doing in Israel.

Hi All --
Just checking in.

I appreciate all your support, encouragement, friendship, and prayers.  Right now I am just taking two months off from any more doctors to clear my head.  I'm signed up for a couple classes at my local quilt shop and I'm looking forward to those.  I'm looking forward to doing the things I enjoy, spending time with my friends, and just enjoying life.  I'm looking forward to doing all the things I couldn't do because I was so wrapped up in my career for the last 25 years.  I may not be an expert at sewing/quilting yet, but I intend to change that now that I have the time to spend perfecting my technique.
My husband is now home so we can spend the time together we need to get through this.  You will soon see me in posting in QCA again, because I DO intend to not let this set back take over my life.  I've faced many setbacks in my 49 years of life (50 in October) . . . cancer, illness, emotional health, mental health, and others.  I have persevered over those challenges, and I will again persevere over this challenge.  This has happened to me for a reason . . . I just need to find it.

Cheers

Oh Kristin - I am so sad to hear your  neurostimulator is not working. After reading this last post though, I am confident that you will get yourself through this. I read about all the medical issues everyone is going through on this site and I realize my medical issues are nothing. You are another brave hero in my book.

Kristin, It is good to hear from you.  I am so sorry that your stimulator is not doing right by you.  You are very brave and strong and resilient.  May the good Lord heap his blessings on you and guide you in everything you do.   Ginny

Kristin

I had so hoped that this procedure and device would work for you.  You will remain in my prayers.  I think getting back to quilting will help with putting your life back together.  I sure knows it helps me when nothing else seems to be going right.    Big hugs.

Kristin, you go girl!  With that attitude and your faith in God, you will find that reason and go with it.  God Bless you and keep you in his loving arms.  (((((HUGS)))))
