Hello quilting world

I just saw this on ebay and thought what a great idea!

Please share your spontaneous "wow...what a quilt" moments.  This is such a good idea in so many ways - I love it.

Jenia, I love this. I actually have a pattern close to this that I designed for my sister who is a one year cancer survivor. I also made a table runner for that same reason. It is very pink however.

Patti, thanks for sharing the Bargello quilt pattern. I loved that incredible heart shaped Bargello you did last year.

Heid Farmer ribbon quilt is the one I am working on now for a friend. The pattern calls for "blue" in the pattern, I am using purple in it's place.

zoetc, I would love to see pictures, including your quilt in progress.  I like the idea of using purple instead of blue.

One of our customers brought this into our shop; it's an adaptation of the Smokey River pattern.

I think that the purple would look great.  It is a very good choice.

Patti, this means I actually have to start getting active on it..lol

Right now I just have it in strips for sewing. As I get further along, I will be happy to post pictures of it. From this point, the hardest part has been to find enough different pinks and the other colors that can be light to dark, i think it has 21 colors in all. I am going to pull it out this weekend and get active on it.

Julienne, thank you...
