Sukochi:

My thought is that Harbor Freight and Tractor Supply are Disneyland for men!

So is Menards and Lowes LOL...but you can find some great stuff there for quilting such as the metal dishes that cling to your frames and hold all your pins so the never spill. Cheaper then Joann's unless you have your coupons.

Never been to Harbor Freight...but love Tractor Supply and almost any hardware store.  Used to drive my husband crazy...I would spend hours in Home Depot and lots of $$$.

Here's my magnetic arsenal for pins. I shop at the office supply store more than the auto mechanics stores. I just love the little containers for pins. Each one holds a different type.

Doing more "pondering" of borders, then sewing. But this is it so far......

Thin king one more tiny yellow border then the flora with the white background as the final border. And a blue binging. What say you all?? Any other ideas. Right now it is 52 by 43

Agnes, Great idea, I too like my office supply store too. I forgot to mention that in my earlier post. But they do have alot of what you need.

Sukochi,

Will the binding be solid? It is very pretty, but I am wondering if you should make the binding a solid blue. What do you think?

I haven't been quilting lately-- well, I've been piecing, but the blocks aren't yet done.  But thought you might like to see the pincushion flowers I'm working on as "stocking stuffers" for Christmas.

Brigit-Carol, these little pincushions are just too cute.. Are those teeny little spools of thread?

Just look at that spelling! Can you tell I am feeling just horrible. Still the intestineal issue, week 2.

The binding will be the blue of the sashing and middle of the blocks.

Angele, you can get them in a package at Walmart in the notions section.

Your idea sounds good to me. I like the borders you have so far.
