Karla, how sweet of him! My 6 year old grandson asked me two weeks before Christmas if we could make "quilts" for his dad and uncle that were camo. Well, we didn't make quilts, but we did make blankets that were camo on one side and fleece on the other. I let the grandkids help with the stitching and monogramming. They had fun, I had fun and the guys were blown away!

Karla, is that skull and crossbones? Lol, its adorable. I love the hearts. He must have a very sweet and tender heart. Makes you just want to scoop them up and snuggle them. I love the purse and would personally, proudly carry it. Beautiful blue colors and roomy. His mom will be thrilled and touched.

Michelle, the quilting looks fabulous! I would be terrified to even try. I did a miserable job at the last class I took on machine quilting. That's why I hand quilt. I'm working on a quilted purse now and will try machine quilting it. Hope it goes well.

Michelle, I think this is so cool. You are really doing such a fun quilt. Those coffee cups are really neat. Good work, girl.

Michelle

That quilting is so bad that I think you had better send that quilt to me so that no one you know really well will ever see it.  I wouldn't want you to be embarrassed or anything.....LOL.   Gorgeous quilt and fantastic quilting.

Yes, it is skull and crossbones, just the boy coming out in him I guess.  He is a pistol, always on the go and a real chatterbox.  We took an afternoon drive over the weekend with my daughter's inlaws (other daughter, not his mother), and we took the boys.  He rode with us and DD1's Mom-in-law, and none of us got a word in edgewise.  I was told it was the same way in DD1's car with her DH and DFIL, other grandson talked the whole way too.  I'd teased them both that they made our ears tired and now they had to be quiet when we stopped for dinner.  It didn't really work, they yakked right through dinner, too.
