Thank you everyone for your compliments on my quilt. Since I call it Prairie Rose, I found a rose fabric for the backing that I think is just perfect. What do you think?

Last evening I started taking some Christmas scraps that someone dropped off and I'm making 6-1/2" scrappy squares. I'm going to make table runners I think. I could also make childrens quilts. Maybe both....we'll see what mood I'm in. But I do want to make a table runner for a secret pal of mine. Shhhhhhh..... don't tell.

finished  this this morning, very early like 6 a.m. after staying up all night.  Its from the Quilter's World newsletter. Its called United We Stand, it is a banner .  gosh,  hate it when it comes out sideways, loses the banner effect but flip your tablet or laptop sideways.  LOL!!

I finished this ice pack cover yesterday as well as the backing to my Goodbye 68, Hello 69 quilt. I have to quilt a summer throw in order to get my pins to layer the quilt.

Disclaimer: NO PATTERN

Agnes, I love the ice pack...You did a great job and I love the colors. I still use the old heating pad myself LOL.  You should write the pattern up and sell it.

Debbie, Great banner. It is great and I love how the fabric works and makes it look like it is moving.

Agnes, I love your ice pack cover.  I also love your crocheted table topper, I have many like that which my mother made when I was a little girl.  She loved that pattern.

Linda:

I finished the top for the family reunion quilt raffle. I call it prairie rose. I had some extra square to make a matching throw pillow too.

Linda, I love your quilt. It is right up my style.

Thanks, Julienne. My chiropractor/physiotherapist recommends ice for inflammation. I am currently making one without padding and I think that will be the preferred one. I'm not about to enter the retail fray trying to sell patterns. I have no trouble writing them up. Retail is just totally a thing of my past..

I also love your crocheted table topper,

Thanks, Marie. That doily just came back to me. I had made that for my mom back in the early '70s. I rather think that it was my last fine thread item I ever made. In 1974 I turned to making afghans and fine thread went out the door. My sister cleaned house when Mom passed away and had kept it but was ready to part with it.
