Just got a call from DD2 who is working in Reno. I need to pick up the baby and take him to a pediatric appointment in Reno as he is running temp and tugging at ears...ear infection. So much for my sew day now that I have the lawn mowing done. Just took DGS2 to the pool for a couple of hours. DGS3 is running grandpa wild with the RC car. There is no rest for these grandparents...is summer over yet?
Guess I'll take my quilt with me and do some sewing on the binding as we wait to get in to the doctor. They are always late!
I can sympathize on this front quite well! Both GS1 And GD1 are sick, started with flu like symptoms, temp, and now is in ears, chest, and coughing..DD1 I think brought it home from work with her, she is a clinical care coordinator for one of our area hospitals....hope everyone is on the mend quickly! I like to think these little ones are keeping us young :)!
I finished the top for the family reunion quilt raffle. I call it prairie rose. I had some extra square to make a matching throw pillow too.
Linda, that is a very nice quilt.
Beautiful, Cindy! I was hoping to zoom in on the embroidery, but it didn't work.

Well, I got halfway done with the purse, but then it quit raining, so I headed outdoors and got a few more things planted in the garden. I have to take advantage of cool wet weather for planting and transplanting - less stress on the plants.
I love your quilt. I love the simple pattern scrappies.
Very pretty quilt Linda!
Love the quilt Linda. Ginny
