Nana:
I think Jacy should make some of those yummy pies for us at retreat......

Look now I blew my cover here too, you will never assign me chips and salsa either.

And I thought Nana was going to make pies at the retreat, I was only bringing the pie pans.

Yes, Nana did say she was going to make pies for George. Remember Nana? Well, he's not coming after all. So perhaps George's pie can go to someone else's hubby.

Tammy, great job on the t-shirt quilt.

IS, your log cabins look real nice.

Sukochi, the runner is perfect for fall. Beautiful job.

Jacy, I can be an honorary quilting sister, your pies sound yummy.

Gals

I can still make some pies but I think the ones Jacy made today sounded really good.   I have never had a peaches and cream pie before and I love strawberry rhubarb.

Was to have the second Post Card class today. It has been set back to August due to my on going intestinal bug. Rats.

Bought the latest issue of Quilting Celebrations yesterday. Ahs so great applique projects for Fall, Lots of great things. Love the all. Will have get a few templates cut so I can sit and stitch while I sit and hurt. I love Patrick Lose's designs.

Sunny and hot on the weather outlook for today. Time to repaint/stain the decks on the front and back of the house. I am trying to convince DH to have it done by our every now and then handy man. I love DH so much, I do. But, he is just a sloppy "This is good enough" painter. And, this is not something I would do. Now, if I could paint a quilt pattern on the deck floor......hmmm.......I might want to rethink this. One with the right colors to go with my purple door. Hmm......I could have the decking floor with a good background color......I am loving this idea. Like a welcome "mat" for the front deck..... How about a log cabin block....Oh, this is getting exciting....

Sukochi, think about barn quilts.  Now translate that to your deck.  I think it's a great idea.  Post pics if you do it.

Was just talking to DH about this idea. He is all for it. Said he doesn't like the ironwork scroll piece I have as a welcome mat, so....

Hi everyone,

Someone sent me a Facebook friend request, I think you're from QCA but I don't recognise your name. I usually accept requests from people I recognise. Is there a way to send a message with a Facebook friend request?

The first name is Nancy.
