Watch her video for LeMoyne Star.  It uses her ruler, but you should get some serious help.

What am I up to today?

Church, weeding flower beds, using weed-eater to cut down grass on walkway!  Yippee!  Got me a nice Kyobi weed-eater with a 40volt battery, love it!  so glad don't have to depend on others, although I've been so Blessed by those who have helped me.

Got a lovely RED Geranium...manager broke the planter it was in, so I got it knocked down 70 percent.  Also picked up another hydranga,...Limelight, it has beautiful white cone shaped spears, can't decide where to plant it.  My Twist and Shout has spread all over the flower bed on the front of the barn and the hostas are in bloom.  The Amarillis'  4...actually at least 6-8 are literally pushing one another our of their little black boxes.  The rain has not really let up for days, so may beautiful plants are growing like wildfires, if it is not a hard rain it keeps on drizzeling.

Got to pickup at couple of round bales tomorrow and then head to the big A.  So looking forward to seeing my dear friend and then to see the great nieces...miss those darlings so much.  My riding buddy is staying at the house and taking care of the animals.

I'm so looking forward to the coming weekend weather permitting, I plan on saddling up my beautiful Princesa and going for my 1st ride since last October.

easy quilts, just received the fall issue.  Oh I'm not used to seeing so many fantastic quilts in awesome colors.   gonna read it from cover to cover over the next couple days.  some of the fabrics are eye-popping.  I love the one on the cover and the then inside it's like a eye candy.  LOVE IT!

Time for 60minutes and another sticky bun...just as yummy as they look when Martha Stewart made them yesterday.

Joni, what a wonderful day you've had. Our flowers are just singing in the sun. So happy for all the wet weather. Though, some have been beat to death by some of the downpours we have had. I pretty much think it has about rained everyday this summer up here. Sure would love some just palin ole sunny, summer days.

I would love some of those hydrangeas. What do they call the cone shaped ones? Are those Oak leaf? I know they aren't lace caps. Hmmm...

Better think about closes up and headed to bed. Church was very exhausting today. Too much going on. Sometimes we get overwhelmed with the love of the Lord. there were a couple melt downs today. One young mother, who lost her first baby when 5 weeks along, thought she was having another miscarriage. Scared us to death. Turns out, now that she is 4 months in, is having pain from her body stretching and growing.  She is totally turning this over to God. He never said it would be easy, but oh, it sure will be worth it. :)

We have hundreds of sunset pictures, but this evening's sunset was worthy of being adding to the bunch.

This is looking west toward the North Cascade Mountains (in Washington State) from our house:

Mornin' Glories.

Donna, that sunset reminds me that God is so good. His blessing to our lives so many. He restoreth our souls. His good night was spectacular!

Is, go for it girl. I could never handle such tiny pieces of fabric to sew.

Today will l finally, finish the binding on the table runner. And, working on the quilt left over from the retreat. I have a person for this one. There will be a baby girl, in 5 months, to a church member and her hubs. Then want to make some of those burp cloths, bibs, and just baby what not's. I gave her a darling little baby outfit Friday. Has a ruffled butt.. :)

Gonna be a great day it the neighborhood.

Sukochi, I'm curious what your burp cloths look like.  I make them also for baby showers and have some to get done soon for a baby girl due in Aug.  Just wondering if there are other patterns besides the ones I make.  Have a nice day.

Donna, beautiful sunset. Hope to work on some projects finally since being home from the hospital.

The Dr's. are stumped and I need to see a specialist. So that is the next step. So until then sew!

I would like to sell some of my work, but I do not know how, so I need to focus on some of that too. Dr's. do not want me to stress at all. HA isn't that part of life.

Sukochi, I love outfits with the ruffle butts, when my daughter was a baby I loved to put her in them. Now that she is an adult she hates ruffles and lace. Oh well.

Will be in the 100's here all week. My kind of weather. ;)

xoxo

Nancy, I think Randy should be very proud of his work. He is truly an artist. And you are very lucky to be married to such a talented man...on the other hand he is also very lucky to be married to such a talented woman as you are an awesome quilter!

Pamela you are doing great in your dyeing learning process. I've been looking into doing that too, but haven't taken the plunge yet. Mind you I spent almost three weeks with my mom and dad so there was no time to play. I hope you will keep us posted on your progress as you try new ways to dye your fabrics.  It all looks great.

Donna the sunset is absolutely gorgeous!!! It amazes me how beautifully God paints the sky and landscape :) I live in the Northwest corner of Ohio curled up around Lake Erie, and it is so flat here you can see the corn grow for miles around, but the sunsets here are beautiful too.! As far as what I am up to today, I just finally got up (9 am) because I stayed up till 2:00 am finishing the BOM Club quilt top my mom started 15 years ago and set aside because she didn't have two of the blocks...THANK GOD for ebay :) I was able to find the blocks AND was able to get the directions from Joann's for the sashing and finishing....I'll see if I can figure out how to post the picture, however it's not pressed well....I'll do that before I take it to our local longarm quilter...(another skill I'd love to learn :))!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful week..we're supposed to be hot and sticky and in the 90's this week (of course, it's fair week for all the kids out here)!
