Lesley, am sorry for the loss of your Dad. To a girl/woman, Daddy was the do all and end off of our worlds. It will get easier but the memories will, thankfully, be there forever. And, you will join him again one day.

is, i know what you're going through.  when sam was diagnosed with diabetes it explained all of his aberrant  moods.  now i know to keep him fueled and his temperament has become much more even.    he calls himself mr. flexibility these days.

Leslie :
Started tearing out dining room floors wed. down to the joist.....going to start painting ceiling and walls today, already have blisters on both hands so whats a few more lol

OMG, Leslie, we're experiencing our hottest, most humid days of the summer thus far.  I can't bear to walk out to the mailbox, let alone start a major remodeling project.  You are amazing!

Are you still gardening, too?  How's your MQ8 coming? I'm sure you must be squeezing in some sewing time.  LOL

Marie, that is so funny, your picture of Leslie in cutoffs etc! I can see her the same way. Heck, Leslie, when you're done there I will even buy you a new pair of cutoffs if you'll come up And do my wallpaper removal.

I wish you ladies experiencing all the rain would send some up to Kansas. We could use a good rain.

Marie:

Leslie, I'm picturing you in cut off shorts, work boots, a T-shirt, a tool belt tied around your waist swinging a hammer.  Am I right?

Your close Marie,   Cutoffs,  boots, tanktop no bra, yippee    but no tool belt LOL

Carolyn (CarolBeau):

Leslie,  I'm sending you my address for when you're done at you're place. . We still have a few rooms of carpet upstairs and a bathroom that needs painting. The wallpaper is already scored to come down, so it should be a breeze. ;)  I'll even buy you some gloves!

Carolyn,  you rip up the carpet and I will be there LOL the carpet is the worse to remove

Nancy, it is hot and humid here also, but it had to be done.   My home was first built in 1888, my staircase was starting to sag and I kept hearing some bad cracking noises, when we crawled under the house we found some joist that had dry rot and had broke into.

My garden is not doing very well, haven't had much time to really work it,   SEWING I can't even get to my sewing machine LOL

Leslie sorry to hear of loss.  my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  Today i'm going to show to see superman my DS says he's paying for us.  I guess my new android phone doesn't do waze navigation but it does have another type of navigation gps.  The brand i got is samsung galaxy s iii.  been racking my brain for last 24 hrs. on it.  Now my DH says I have to go to meeting mon.  I have no idea why he already did everything and embarrassed me to boot.  Went out to Joann's yesterday loaded up with thread and fabric.

Leslie i know what you mean about not being able to get to sewing machine i have boxes with what my DH called my crap blocking the way he wants more room for his stuff, but he doesn't want to move.
