Gini, sorry for the loss of Sam's partner. Sounds like you need to build a bigger gate.

Oh Darlene,

So sorry to hear your man is sick.  They are such babies when they don't feel good. Hang in there and sometimes turn a deaf ear?  Eh?

I couldn't log on this morning, either.  Wouldn't even go to the site.

I need to be Karla. or Lesley. Somebody who actually gets stuff done!

CC, you definitely don't want to be me...I have so many unfinished projects (and not just quilting), that every once in a while I can't help but get a couple of them done.  I go in streaks...and this week isn't one of my get anything done weeks.

Darlene, I certainly don't envy you.  DH broke his ankle several years ago and I felt like committing myself to an institution.  Then right after he retired, he came down with "swine flu", which I think was worse than the broken ankle,  Men are such babies, really.  They think they are so tough, but when they get sick they are out for the count.  Gee, when I'm sick, DH thinks I should still get up and make his dinner.

Gini, sorry about Sam's partner. Hope it doesn't get you down.

darlene, I hope Larry does't get you down either.

I've had a busy week volunteering at an A1C day camp every day this week. And I worked all day today at the LQS. At 5:25 17 women came in (we close at 5:30!) and they shopped until 6:15! But it was all good. They actually made our day. They were on a shop hop and were spending their money quite freely.

i am envious of all your talk of gardens I didn't plant any flowers, even, because I have a rotator cuff tear and am having surgery next Friday. Wish me luck on that! I'll be messed up for the rest of the summer.

Sorry to hear that Larry is under the weather and causing you grief.  I'll ask Randy in the morning if he has any sage advice for the poor fellow.  Maybe he'll have some wise words like "Suck it up!"

Oh Gini, you guys didn't need this on top of the court case.  Is Sam able to decompress at the end of each day?

Elaine, didn't you have shoulder surgery a year or two ago, or am I thinking of someone else?  Make sure you do your physical therapy exercises!
