Judy T-Bellingham:

Donna B, the baby quilt is adorable. I really love the Christmas quilt you are working on. Is this hand embroidery?

Judy thanks!  No, the Christmas Quilt is all machine embroidery with learning "virtual positioning" as the goal of the class.  All that means is trying to match key points so that all your hoopings will result in a unified design that flows together.  If I remember correctly, the center design had five separate hoopings.

Well, Donna, I'm impressed!

Like Frances, I don't have a design wall...I don't even have a wall large enough to hang up/take down a table cloth, so I, too, use the dining room table, the bed, etc.  Right now everything is put away for Easter...will have to use the dining room table and my cutting table to feed everyone.

Sounds perfectly sane to me. I love your blocks.

Donna B:
a Christmas Quilt I am still plugging away at (maybe I will have it done for next Christmas...at least that is the plan).

I look forward to seeing this one finished. You do such great machine embroidery work.

I made one out of foam I got at Home depot. I then covered it with the same cotton I use inside my quilts. I just put it away when not in use. I have a very small home. I just prop this up on the chair/table when I need to use it. It's not needed on all of my projects, but it sure is nice to use when needed to help keep my pattern correct...and my mind straight....lol

Lynn - I love those applique blocks with the blue borders. What is the pattern? This would be a great project for my guild's applique club.

Donna, cute little baby quilt. I'll have to remember that design for when I need a quick gift.

Your christmas quilt is coming along nicely, that's going to be a lovely quilt.

Lynn, your applique is wonderful. The little 9-patch sashing is great. Your whimsical flower garden blocks are cute, I love you color choices for it, that pattern is on my to-do list.
