Hello everyone! After many years of sewing garments for my children I have been bitten by the quilting bug. I made my first quilt for a friend's baby (and probably broke every quilting rule there is). Enjoyed it so much, I want to make more!! So here I am to learn.
Hi Faith, Where in the country are you located? You may have a helping quilt sister right around the corner. We enjoy sharing our love for quilting with anyone who asks....so ask away.

Hi Faith, welcome to the club! Do tell what rules you broke and how they turned out, some of us may like to go the same route. : ) We love having fun here and hope you do too.

Hi Faith, Welcome to the group. When I started quilting I was told there was only one hard and fast rule in quilting -- the thread goes through the eye of the needle.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I have posted a picture of my first quilt. Now I am trying to figure out what to do for my next one. I want to make a quilt for one of my granddaughters. Any suggestions for a novice quilter, it would need to be a twin size.
