Susan,

His name is Maxton but called Max.  His mom has had kind of a trial laden life.  Her father, my BIL was killed in a motorcycle accident when she was 10. Then her mother packed up all her belongings and put them on the front porch on her 12th birthday and refused to ever let her come back.  She had spent a LOT of time with her great grandparents, and they did a great job raising her.  On the eve of her wedding he DH's family told them they would rot in hell and refused to come to the wedding.  Now this.  So she will pull through.   She is strong and God IS a part of her life that she recognizes and accepts.  Not that He wouldn't be there, just an additional source of strength.

Thanks everyone for the extra prayers to set this little one off on what is likely to be a long and pain filled journey.  They are a pretty active family, so that will help him.

Jan

I will be praying,

Having been diagnosed with this myself at 13, I understand what he will go through.  I have still done some amazing things physical with my life as I am sure he will too.

God Bless

Jan, thanks for giving me his name. Max has an amazing Mom, and i and the prayer warriors  will be praying for the both of them! She has quite a testimony!  When we feel bad for ourselves we need to think of  Her and Max and all she has endured. It  sure  puts our petty problems in perspective.           Susan

Hello Everyone, I,m asking for prayers for my DH Bob. He has been diagnosed with melanoma on his back and what we thought was a fairly simple procedure has turned into major surgery. Because it is so deep he has to have radioactive dye put in his body  to see if it is in his lymph nodes and other organs if so  they will cut it out and have the pathologist there seeing how far it has spread and how much and where to remove it .Thank God we live here, near Jacksonville close to a Mayo Clinic as that is where they have nuclear medicine and do these procedures all the time. The surgery is scheduled for next Thursday May 9th and he will be out of work for 2 to 4 weeks. Your prayers will be much appreciated  and thank you one and all.         Susan
