Ginny: I have an pdae on my precious baby GGS. He is still in intensive care. They have been trying to wean him off of the oxygen, so he could go to the regular peds unit, but his breathing increases to over 100 when they do. He is starting to be able to eat more now, between 2-4 oz. Wants to be held all of the time. Think he wil be spoiled when he comes home?-- you betcha---- I will see to that. Ginny

Oh, Ginny, prayers continue to go up for him and all the family. It is a scary time for all of you, I know.
Ginny - Prayer for you and family. My grandson was also premie and had RSV but is is now 9 and very active so there is something to look forward to.
That's what I am looking for Beth--encouragement. You just know deep down he will be okay, but then the doubts creep in when it doesn't happen quickly. How is your husband doing? I've been wondering about him. Ginny
Thank you Quiltylee or Sukochi Ginny
Ginny, still in my T&P, and I would hold him as much as he wants

Bill is doing quite well. Today he actually went down the stairs to putter with his train layout and I was able to go into my sewing room :)

It is very hard to stay positive when things progress so slowly. Just try really hard to remember that this is a slow process but it is a great sign that he is wanting to eat. It just takes some time for the lungs and those little muscle to get back to working the way they should. I have every reason to believe that he is going to be fine. Just love on him as much as he wants and let him have his time to heal. Big hugs and lots of prayers.

Ginny t&P still going out for little one. My great nephew was a premie and had to stay a month in extra care he came out fine and I sure am praying the same for your little one.

Ginny, thanks for the update on your DGGS. God Bless him and you be sure to spoil him now and when he gets home. Babies are meant to be held and cuddled. (((((HUGS)))))

Ginny, I just read through all the posts in this thread- haven't been on QCA much. Sorry to find out your DGGS has been having problems, and happy to find out he's wanting to eat and be held. How about, for all of us, you give his Mom a big hug, too?
Please pray for my friend Heather. She has had a very difficult year, including double mastectomy, and before that other things just as difficult that I won't go into here. She has a meeting at work that could result in loss of employment which she cannot afford. She is very, very depressed.

Patti, I will pray for your friend, Heather. It sounds like she has had too much on her plate to handle. I will pray that she doesn't lose her job which she obviously is in great need of and that her situation greatly brightens in her life. Ginny
.
Thanks, Marie, You know how it is with these new babies. You just want to sit there and watch them grow and become a real person like you culdn't do before they were born. Ginny
Thanks IS, I am counting on him being fine. It is just taking longer than anticipated. I just want him home and all better. Ginny
Patti, I will keep Heather in my thoughts and prayers, sounds like she's had an awful lot to deal with. God Bless her, please. Sending some hugs to you my friend, it's difficult to watch a friend go through what she has been through.
