My cousin is taking the quilts her mother, MIL and G-MIL made to a historical society meeting next week.  We need to know the names of these blocks but can't place them.  I've searched, but have not had any luck.  Was able to name the others that she had, though.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Nancy,

I know the second block as "Glorified Nine Patch". Can't help with the others.

So, kris you were right, the first block just now showed up for me.  that'ts weird.   So the second is glorified nonce patch.  The first one probably has several names it is a pretty common variation of a flower.
