Did anyone do this quilt? Have you seen Nancy's new color scheme for it? I'm looking for it.
I am doing this as a block of the month at the LQS. I would recommend it to any beginner, as it has wonderful instructions, and a fun way to learn techniques.

Here is a picture of Amish with a twist 2. I'll post the first one next.
Here is the first one. You can get kits at keepsake quilting, but a lot of quilt stores are carrying this too.

Both quilts are gorgeous! Beautiful.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
These are not mine, just pictures I got when I googled Amish with a twist. I really love the second one.
The colors have changed on the first one though so ask the shop before you buy. I personally don't like the new colors as much since she removed Royal Blue and both purples!
!Beautiful quilt...I love the colors and patterns. Maybe I'll be brave and order it, it's not like I don't have a dozens fabrics for quilt yet to be made, LOL.
Will check out Keepsake quilting ASAP!
Roxanna, do you know of any shop that carries the kit with the royal blue and purples included?
You could always substitute some blues and purples into the quilt. It looks like they added a lot of pink. So change it to blues and purples.
No I don't. Linda has a point about substituting the blues and purples back in but they also muted the other colors so I would just ask the shop owner before I bought instead of just ordering over the Internet. Check pricing too. I was looking and the re is a good $25 difference span for the full kit.
Patti, both quilts are beautiful. So vibrant!

My only point is that the new colors for Amish with a Twist as included with the kit now are NOT vibrant.
1930's Red has been substituted with Nile Green, Raspberry has been substituted with Putty, Goldenrod with Pewter, purple Ice with Taffy, Cheddar with Blushing, Royal Blue with Playful Pool, Turquoise Tide with Goldenrod, Fuchsia Punch with Mustard Seed, Red Dawn with Aqua
that's just naming the vibrant colors. The other odors have been substituted also.
Colors not odors! I hate auto-replacement sometimes!
If anyone knows where one can purchase the original kit with the vibrant colors...please let me know. Many thanks in advance.
