George and I have arrived in Seattle. After a very tense drive to St Louis (his battery wouldn't charge from the car), we had a panic moment when the 2nd battery died as we landed. We are now sitting plugged in and waiting for snuff charge to get us to the next area to charge.

What is it that requires charging? Is it something to do with the oxygen tank? That must have been an extremely stressful flight!

Literally a day from hell. We stopped twice on the drive home from Seattle to charge that blankety blankety oxygen thingy. The company is going to hear big time about that. Yes, very stressful drive to St Louis, very nervous on the flight watching the battery meter drop, very stressful ride home trying to find a a place to pull off the freeway and plug him back in. I do not know what we would have done if my daughter hadn't picked us up and driven us home.
But, we are home! With our dog. Thank goodness for our two daughters. We wouldn't have made it without them. Now we can get on to the business of settling in and getting George's condition on track.

Oh my Judy, You certainly had a hard road home. Sounds like you had a portable oxygen concentrator to use for your ride home. Actually, that is usually better than an oxygen tank as those small oxygen tanks last only a couple of hours or less. You couldn't have transported enough tanks to get you home.
Is this concentrator one he will be using at home when he goes out? I'm certain he won;t hae the problem with it then as he can get used to the amount of time he has before charging is needed.
I am just so glad that your daughters were able to help you along your way. Good luck and just rest for a bit before tackling anything else You and George are in my prayers. Ginny

Judy - I feel bad we separated!! You seemed in such a positive place that I thought it would be an easy trip for you - Maybe my car could have charged the oxygen. Anyway will mail your items out this week

ok everyone I made it home safely and went staight to bed sorry , I was just worn out. I'm fine had a marvalous time. despite the last day when I was hurting so bad .. I so happy everyone had a good time .as well . Barbara
Judy, I am so glad that you are finally home. Many prayers are going up for you and George and hoping that the trials will now get easier as you are back home. I can not imagine the stress you were under looking at that little guage. But you are safely home now and that is all that matters for the moment. Take good care of yourself and I truly can't wait to see the pictures of your quilt finished - it is beautiful. A great work of art. I enjoyed very much meeting you and didn't get sick at all - so we didn't need to worry... B-12 shots do work - at first I had my doubts but my doctor was right on. Take care of yourself and your daughters and your DH.
