Frances:

Judy honey,

I am so sorry your DH was rushed to hospital, if id been there i would have given you a huge hug, prayers going up that both of you are ok, your DH for dealing with being ill and you for dealing with the stress.

thanks Frances. I'm in my room trying to sort things out before heading back to the hospital to meet with the social worker who is helping with the paperwork to get him and an oxygen tank on the plane.

Wow Judy. You sure got more of an adventure then you bargained for. Hugs & Prayers

You made me chuckle. Yes, an adventure. I'll ask George if he wants to make this an annual event! :-)

I didn't get as far on my second project, a Kim Diehl pattern. I changed things around so didn't have enough fabric for the rest of the border and more applique flowers in the sashings.

But with the help from Gini, Gretchen, Nana and others I did get it the layout improved. Couldn't have gotten to this point without their help. Those two flowers tacked in the sashing won't stay there. Decided they were two large and two involved. going to put small flowers and few leaves and berries instead. I believe the left border is going to end up on the bottom turned around. Who knows. It will be my homework when I get home. I'll probably be posted more photos asking for help.

Thanks ladies.

Judy,

Perhaps you should tell George that he doesnt have to go to such extreme lengths to keep you out of fabric stores.

lots of love

.... and the number ONE reason you should never bring your husband to a quilt retreat is

(in interest of protecting my marriage, I'll point out that just because I posted this does not mean that my DH is the guilty party)

Judy, Hugs and Prayers for you and DH.  I agree, you were in the right place for lots of love and support around you with all this happening.  (I'm married to an ex-smoker (50 year 1-2 pack a day), so I live on pins and needles about COPD too.  It can rear it's ugly head even after quitting smoking.)  I hope the social worker is able to work out the flight details and arrangements for you and that everything goes smoothly getting both of you home and DH to a specialist.

Dad, Mom and Tyler, one happy family!  Will send pic of me holding Tyler when I receive them from other family members cell phones.

Will also go back and read about the Marauders, sure I've missed much.  Keep on having fun and watch out for those Gremlins!  I miss you all sooo much!  Love and hugs to all.  Marie

I've been MIA and have some catching up to do.

I love the new projects. Nancy, I really like your "Magic Squares". Nana's "Xs and Os", Bonita's "Meadow Breeze". Darlene's chenille is amazing. Nicely done. And on and on. sorry if I don't name you specifically. Nice work ladies.

Diana, FINALLY. LOL. A little bit of tape won't keep Gini in line.

The hot tub photos. I'm so jealous. I could use a soak in a hot tub right about now. Way to obey the hot tub rules ladies. LOL

The poker game looks like fun. I would have lost everything since I don't know the game.

Judy T-Bellingham:

Frances. The hubby's pop in and out of the sewing room now and then. I don't know what they do the rest o the time. Well, except for my George who opted out of the party early by landing in the hospital. At least I know where he is.

Judy,

I hope George is OK. Here's wishing you both a safe, uneventful trip home at the end of the week. You are in my prayers.

I love this. Can't wait to see it finished.
