Update on Tyler, my brandy new DGGS!  Taken by  C- section after many hours of labor, Mom spiked a temp so he's in NICU being administered antibiotics for precautionary measures.  Scott sent me a pic but I'm too dumb to know how to send to QCA so I sent it to Kris' email address and she'll send it to you.  He weighed 7 lbs. 14 ozs.  Dad couldn't remember how tall.  will update again as I get info.  Thanks for the prayers, God is good!

Are you all at some kind of retreat?

Where/when/what is the scoop?

I am going to a local retreat next weekend sponsored by my LQS but I'd be interested to know when/where others are happening so I can meet people IRL.

Oh Marie, I am so happy that everything has turned out well.  Our little one was in nicu for 3 days to make certain everything was okay as he was a month early and Mom is diabetic.  He is doing fine now.     Congratulations Marie on holding it together thru this trying time.     And congratulations to the new parents too.    Ginny

MNnancy:
Patti, I'm passing you Darlene's response.  She has three layers of the panel (you could use four) over a tone-on-tone coordinating background fabric that will show through the chenille cuts with all this sandwiched on batting and backing before stitching the lines.  Did that make sense?

yes, it did make sense.  Thanks

NEWSFLASH   BRANSON!

Mary was hungry.

NO, that's not the newsflash.  Patience, people!

Mary was hungry and reached into the snack box when she felt something wiggle in her fingers.

Mary got two treats in one!  Now the little gremlin will keep her company while she snacks on goldfish and quilts the day away.

Kristin, if you go back into the "Groups" section of QCA, there is a thread called QCA Retreats.  That's where you can find the plans for gatherings.

We have eaten so many goodies that Ruth Ann decided she needed some exercise.  This is called aerobic strip jump rope.
