Patti,
Great job. I really like your border treatment.
Has the winning quilt been posted? If not when and where? You ladies are absolutely amazingly talented!!!!
You gals all did a fantastic job with the uglies. I am just glad I am not a judge. This will be a hard decision.

Thea, when will the judging be done? This has been a great contest, and good motivator. Although it looks like there are only 10 entries, it is obviously going to be a hard decision. Thanks for making this happen.

I just went and looked at all the quilts and I could not decide which one was the best. I wanted to choose one but it was down to at least four. I definitely would not be able to judge.
Patti, your ugly is great. I love your borders ... very different. Great job.

Where are the Ugly quilts posted so that one can view them?
Joanne, here's the link (from Thea's post, one page back in this thread):

Thanks very much Eileen, I appreciate that.
I am was amazed at what you gals did with your ugly fabric. In my book you are all WINNERS!
They are all very well done and your creative juices were surely flowing. Thanks for everything, you are an inspiration to us new quilters.
Thea,
any progress yet on the judging? Can you give us any idea when it will be posted? This week? Next week?
Hope you are well. Miss you.
Goodness gracious, you all did fabulous job turning your uglies into great quilts! It was really difficult to choose. I decided that the best use of the ugly needed to be the criteria.
Alex and I both just cast our ballots (I had the nerve not to even check e-mail this weekend while my sis was here, so am playing catch up) so I'm sure Thea will be posting the results soon.
GREAT job everyone!

Hi, I am waiting for one more judge email - marianna was having problems with her internet so just got my reminder this morning and will get back to me shortly - then I will calculate all the #s and post the winners of each prize...
It is really hard to vote... wow! beautiful quilts.
I work in a small dialysis clinic and when we do annual care plans we have to get the nurse, dietician, nephrologist, and patient together in the same place. Even with everyone here, it is like herding a bunch of cats.
Having judges from all over is quite a challenge to get the judging done.
Specially with the tough competition.
