Sandy
I really like your fabric. I don't think it is at all ugly. Really love the little blue flowers.

I agree with Nana on this one, Sandy!

Well, here it is for what it's worth. I think it will be great to donate to the hospital. I love it when I can take some fabric and actually find fabrics in my stash and a free pattern online to make it all come together. That was a lot of fun to push my creativity a bit. Can't wait to see everyone else's "ugly" quilts.
Sandy H.: Nana, Here's mine. I found my coordinating fabrics and I have my pattern so am ready to start.

Very cool fabric. Sort of weird but not really ugly. I think the colors help it. Different for sure!
That turned out very nice, Jeanine.
Nice, job, Jeanine! You turned an "ugly" piece of fabric into useable art! The coordinating fabrics work very well with the ugly fabric. I don't think whoever gets it, assuming you donate it, will see the ugly - they'll feel the warmth :-)

I'm sorry but I love this fabric. As many quilts as I make for kids, this one would be perfect for a pre-teen girl!
Jeanine--
Well, I have to say you've done a great job of making lemonade from that lemon of a fabric! Actually, I didn't think it was such an ugly fabric in the first place, but it was your ugly and you've made it look beautiful!

I hope so. This will go to the critical care unit of the local hospital here.

Thanks. It is fun to see how you can use different fabrics together to make something beautiful. Sometimes you just have to let go of your gut feelings and take a risk and see what happens. LOL
Jeanine,
I love your quilt. Congratulations on a job well done.
