I'm from Wichita, KS. I got started in quilting in Jan. 2011 while sitting on my bed recovering from a broken ankle. My ex MIL Mary, sent over a baggie w/ cut pieces & an instruction sheet. And it goes on from there........... Since then, I have done 3 complete quilts, 2 quilt tops for Mary & am working on another. I sew the blocks by hand then sew the finished blocks together by machine. It has become very additive & I can't wait to get this one finished so I can start the next!

EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Welcome to QCA! It becomes very addictive. I spend more time online looking at other peoples' work than getting any work of my own done. I am in Omaha, NE. We just got about 6 or 7" of snow yesterday, and spent the morning digging out. I recently retired, and thought I would have a lot of time to spend sewing, quilting, etc., but I haven't gotten to that point yet. I have a fabric stash to keep me busy forever.
Hope you really enjoy QCA as much as I do!
Kathy
