We haven't had much snow here, but then we got rain/lsnow/sleet/wintry mix, so have ice on the ground and trees and everything else out there.  The deck is so slick I wouldn't dare go out there!  So has been a good day to stay in and exercise the sewing machine!  Today, workout on a FW with little tiny scraps, love making improv blocks.  It's really cold and bad out there, but so far have the power OK, but DH is bummed because the satellite is out and he can't watch basketball.  Our quilting workshop had to be called off, as well as TOPS, so quiet sewing day at home suits me!  Hope everyone stays well, be careful and keep safe.

everyone please be safe.

There is hope!! Our snow is finally melting. I can see the lawn out front once again, and the crocus are starting to poke through the ground.

We are expecting another storm on Saturday, so I may be eating My words.

Barbara

Looks beautiful.  Angel seems to really enjoy her "guard spot".

Angel is a really sweet dog.  I would take pictures of my dogs out in the show but it is very hard to see mine - they are white german shepherds...teehee... right now though they are walking on top of our snow... it is very crusty with lots of iciness... we had snow thunder, hail thunder and then sleet thunder followed by just plain snow.  the roads were pretty clear though although today it is very icy out there.  I have to go out later to the store and to visit Mom today  - didin't go out at all yesterday and really don't want to today but I do have to get somethings for the weekend.

Your snow is as pretty as ours although ours will be gone by Monday... we will be in the 50s all week and close to 60 so here today gone tomorrow.

Wow, 50's? Thea, how do you rate such warm weather. I don't know when we will see that temp in KS. We are supposed to get more snow on Monday.

Barbara, thanks for the pics they are pretty.  Sorry you guys have had so much snow this year.  We had a few flurries today and some rain.  Calling for mix of rain/sleet tonight.  YOur little dog is really cute.  Stay safe and I hope you still have power.

What is snow thunder, hail thunder and sleet thunder? Isn't thunder just...thunder? When I was little, my grandmother said the devil was beating his wife when it thundered. My Mom said that it was when God was bowling. I wonder if you can rent bowling shoes in heaven?

Y'all stay safe, home and warm. (((WARM HUGS))) headed your way.

Sukochi my uncle told me that when it rains and the sun shines at the same time the devil was beating his wife.  I had not heard that in years.  Also about bowling in Heaven when it thundered. ha   I wonder is that just southern sayings.
