Wow!!  hate to say it, gals but glad it was ya'll and not me.  we got mostly sleet and slush out of two winter storms, yesterday and last night.  I see where Thea is still on winter weather alert till 6:00 p.m. tonight.  I think ours has all gone thru, now just need to dry up and not refreeze.  Driving was not bad, I had dr appoint at 9:15 but roads were good.

Just got back inside from helping DH dig out his truck.  We have 11 inches of that white stuff, and a freezing drizzle is starting to fall on top of it.  Don't think the freezing rain will last long from the looks of the radar, but more snow is coming this way later today.  I can't even really complain!  We are needing the moisture so bad!  We are 18 inches behind in rainfall so this looks good right now.

State and county workers were told to stay home today so I've had DH under foot all day.  Has been a mixed blessing...he got to do the birdfeeding chores for me so I didn't have to hike out to the backyard.  But for some reason he thought I should help him shove out the driveway and walkway to the house. (I helped, but I leaned on the shove a lot!)

Hope all you folks in the areas getting ice are able to keep your power on. Will be thinking of you!  Barbara, you stay inside and sew and skype!

I'm going to go start some meatloaf and baked taters for supper.

So far we have had beautiful weather here today.  But I understand that bad weather is on its way overnight.  The snow pics are beautiful but I am really ready for spring.

Barbara, Angel is so cute!  The snow is another thing, we're supposed to get it Sat. and Sun. here.  Anyway you could keep it there?

Barbara,  I have to tell you I'm so in awe of your wonderful pics but its not the snow i'm looking at that looks like a pom beautiful coloring!  I'm still grief stricken after 21/2 years oh gee  I'm near tears now my pom was 3yo when she was taken by pancreatitis she collapsed in my driveway after my sone took her for walk I rushed her to vet and they couldn't save her.  So thanks again for pic.                       this was my spirit.

Good thinking Marie. We're supposed to get up to 14 more inches this weekend. Every bloody weekend. Ready for this to end.
