What kind of cotton batting do you use? I use Quilters Dream but it seems to be really thin lately.
Kim, I use Warm and Natural. I am looking for a high loft batting for the quilt Im making now. Does anyone have any ideas???
The only high loft I can find is poly.
I know you can get a higher loft with some wool batts. Ginny
I just used wool batting and was very pleased with how it quilted up.
I'm currently using warm and white, I really like that one and I use it the most.
Jacy, didn't Warm and White used to be 80/20? Now it's 92/8 or something odd like that. I still like it, though.

Nancy, you had me curious and I had to drag mine out to check. It says cotton 87.5% Polypropylene 12.5%. I've had this for about a year, they may have changed the % since then. I buy my batting by the roll and it lasts me a year or two.
The price of cotton went up, so I'm surprised they increased the cotton percentage and lowered the poly. I know at the Joann's here, you can't buy 80/20 anymore.
I have a site that has lots of explanation about the batting she sells. It's www.quiltbug.com
It's a shop I go to every time I go up home for my visits. I wouldn't miss stopping there and shopping. If you check out the batting section, she gives lots of info. Hope it helps you out.

I wonder if they shrink more now that they are 100% cotton. I have really liked how Warm and white washed so well with very minimal shrinkage.
