I've not heard of shrinking thread. What's its purpose?

I haven't heard of this but i would presume ater washing it would shrink thus giving quilts a vintage ripple look not sure though.

yes....only it says use ironing to give this effect.

I've not heard of it, but probably wouldn't use it as I don't prewash my fabric and get plenty of shrinkage after washing the quilts.

Would love to see some pics.
