I moved to Florida in December, and in unpacking I know I saw the ruler holder. You know, that 6" X 24" piece of wood with the grooves? SOMEWHERE I saw it, but do you think I can find the thing? Of course not. I set it aside (somewhere) as I was working on unpacking another endless box.
Now, being a frugal type, I certainly wasn't going to immediately go out and buy another one (I KNOW it's here...somewhere). The solution presented itself by way of a wooden dish drainer, the kind that fold flat but open to a rather nice 2-layer holder for dishes.
The lower layer holds the long rulers and the upper layer holds the squares and triangles. I'm amazed at how convenient this actually has become too. There's room for everything and more.
that's what I am currently using. My daughter moved and didn't want hers, so I took it figuring it would be good for something. I have it on the end of my cutting table.

I like that idea Jajuan I have an acrylic file and its about to burst with so many rulers. I've been thinking about putting up some pegboard and use like your behind the door.

I love your idea, behind the door is wasted space. What did you use? I can't make out what the purple background is? a ruler? and how are the acrylic rulers hung?
Sorry if this sounds especially foolish...
what is the purple thing? looks like a good idea for those ones i don't have room for on my racks.
Jim used a piece of of 1x4 that he ripped down. The rulers are hung on nails. We measured to be sure everyting had a place the right size. The wood is screwed to the wall.. I had him paint it with leftover paint from when I had his paint my front door purple. So,,a free fix to rluer storage.
Also used stuff laying around the workshop for my sewing table, and sissor storage. Picture in next frame. Jim had an old unfinished door out there. He painted it white (during my "white" period) and bulit legs with shelves. He then hammered nails into the side of the table "door" and I hang my sissors from that. Oh, and he built a cutting table on top of the sewing table "door". Recyle!
