Hi everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Cheryl. I am from Carson City, NV. I have been quilting on and off for 20 years. Mostly these days, I just dream of quilting. Work and health don't always cooperate to have enough energy to actually walk into my sewing room and do anything.
i grew up in Southern California and have lots of family still there.
Hi, Cher, welcome to the club. I think you will find lots to learn, groups to join and some mightly fine quilters to get to know. Enjoy your time with us. Be sure and look around. Oh, and add some photos of your work to your gallery. We love pictures.

Welcome to QCA Cher.....
I'm a material girl....Want to see my fabric collection?
Hi Cheryl from Nevada! Welcome to QCA. Are you experiencing warm temps this time of year? I'm ready for spring, but it will be a long time before it reaches us in the north land. I think you'll have fun looking at and talking about quilts here even if you aren't actually sewing a lot of them anymore. We're a friendly bunch!

Welcome Cher. Love your Avatar, one of your quilts?
Millbury, MA
Thank you all for the greetings. And yes, my Avatar is one of the quilts I made. It was in the 90's and it was a pattern from American Patchwork and Quilting Magazine. I love flowers and my daughter challenged me not to use any floral prints in this quilt. It made it extra fun to look for fabrics.
Hi Cheryl, I think you will enjoy the QCA. I sure do. I don't get anything done because I'm so busy reading all the fun posts. ha It is my relax or down time. Have a great day.
