On March 1 the group will open for membership. Go to the groups section on this site and scroll thru the groups until you find Mystery Quilt 8. Then click on the group and you will see on the right hand side of the page a place to Join This Group. Click on this and you will have access to the group. This is where I will answer all questions. On March 15th the actual mystery quilt instructions will begin. On your home page on the left hand side you will be able to find Mystery Quilt 8 Workshop. Click on this and you will find the actual instructions. They will be in pdf format so that you can make copies. There will be 2 weeks between the first step and the second. After that a new set of instructions will be posted every Friday until we complete the quilt.

Quilting My Rainbow
Hi, I'm Martha, from Parker, Colorado. I'm new to Quilters Club, but have been sewing for years. My sewing machine is probably older than some of you. :) It will be 45 this year, needless to say, I am older than that.
I love mystery quilts. You just don't know what you will have until it is finished.
Dara, love the quilt pictures, thought you might like to see my Crazy 8 Strip Tease quilt. It isn't quilted yet, but you might like to see a different color combination. I was delighted with the way it turned out.

Is this open to novice quilters?
What I make with my hands, I give of my heart.
hi martha and jennifer, welcome to the group
I'm new to the quilters club and can't wait to do a mystery quilt. Sure sounds like fun. Currently working on a baby quilt. I usually machine piece and hand quilt but am going to try machine quilting on my home machine.
