thank you ginny and all the rest for your prayers.  Oklahoman's are resilient if nothing else.  They are still digging out in Moore and we are told that at the moment the death total is 91 - they did locate over night 101 people alive - maybe not completely well but alive in shelters under the storm mess.

Please say a prayer for Kelly, she lives in the OKC area.  She hasn't been on here for a while so I don't know if she is okay - another

lives in the OKC area - I think she is northeast of where the storm went - and we have a few other members who have been on and of that live there.

this storm was horrific and brought back so many bad memories for me of 89 when Jay and I road out Hurricane Hugo in our trailer.  All night long I listened to the storm rage without being able to see what was happening.  Those feelings came back over and over yesterday.  The pictures of this storm and the memories for these people is worse - they went through a horrific tornado in 99 right through this area and now a repeat just as they are built back up.

They are showing here so many pictures of families hugging as they came out in the sunshine after the storm - and so much devastation... the rubble - the cement pads where row after row of houses just gone... so so scary...Al Roker just said "shell shocked" and I think that is what most of us here are... It was just about 80 miles south of me... we were in sunny calm weather here... Jay and I had just got back from taking Mom to the doctor and shopping at Wal-mart - happy that the storm the forecasters were talking about had not come - to see the TV and the devastation that was going on...

We are okay - sad and pensive - happy and safe and hoping that all those just south of us find something to help them through this - all your prayers will go a long way.

For those looking for Barbara - she has been posting - over in Groups - she is okay - she lives up in Liberty MO - they had some storms on Saturday/early Sunday morning - the ones that went through here - but as far as I know she has just been overcast like we were for 3 days... some rain ... but okay!

As I said - Debbie, Kelly - if anyone knows - prayers please.

UnDad was buried at the vets cemetary with a reception at the service club afterward.

CC - what is an unDad?  I just never heard that term before and so can not fathom the relationship.  I had to ask!

"Un's" are term I use to define family members that are chosen, but not kin.

Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.

Have fun with the new car, Patti!

Donna, you know "Quilt til you wilt" has a better ring to it - rhyming and all.  That's what we call sewing day here anyway.
