Me too Nana. I have a CC but I don't carry, although it is good to know that I can if the need arises.

Spud,

Dont we normally call Chocake CC and does she know you have her to use if the need arises, I know she seems to be able to deal with anything but surely its asking a bit much for her to sort out all the badies.

Oh I don't know - I'm pretty sure our CC could handle it and she is somewhat in my neck of the woods... :)

Sure thing, Spud. I got your back.

Do you know how strange that sounds to me carrying a gun in your bag.

Me too, Frances, I guess that makes me a "sitting duck" or a dead one.  Does this mean I'm being naive?

Well put it this way Marie, If you have a gun its okay, however if i had a gun a) It would frighten the life out of me b) I wouldnt know what to do with one, since ive never held or been close to one C) Id be arrested.

Lots of love

Frances, Nevada (where I live) is still part of the Wild West.  My son-in-law and his parents are from Nailsea (near Bristol), and when the parents come to visit we sometimes take them out in the desert to target practice.  They've actually gotten quite good.  They've bought a house here in Fernley, too, and they visit at least twice a year for a month or two at a time.

And yippee, my son-in-law passed his citizenship test today and within the next couple of months will be sworn in as an American citizen.  We are thrilled as it has been a long and expensive venture, another reason I'm against "amnesty" for those here illegally...he has spent close to $10,000 (maybe more) to get through this process.

Me too Frances , only gun I have is a glue gun and I can make a right mess with it too!! lol

Today I went with my previous work team to do some gardening at a primary school ( 5-11 years) we had a fun time I planted hanging baskets dug a little and had a generally good time. I hope the children appreciate all our hard work.

We were very lucky with the weather chilly but only a few spots of rain.

Good day all in all and I got paid for it too. Part of our contract at work is to have at least 1 community day a year, even got lunch thrown in too well we went to a local pub!

Hope everyone is doing ok xxxx

Karla thats brilliant news about your son in law. I totally agree about not given illegals amnesty send them home. Wish we had more stringent laws for immigration in UK
