Gini, I love the scenery. I too hate ticks...with a passion.  I had never seen ticks before moving here. My first meeting ended with one trying to burrow in my neck.  Yuck I still have goosebumps thinking about it!

Aaack, CC, you missed!

It wasn't me. Ma Nature handles those things. She usually takes a broad sweep from Gini, to me and then east.

Thanks CC really, you can keep it for as long as you want to. Honestly, I don't want it. They are calling for that white stuff tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday. If we are lucky, it will just continue north.  If not ...well it will mean wet feet or rubber boots for bus duty...blaaaaah!

i guess I should say thanks for thinking about me...lol

Nancy, so that stuff went south instead? Sorry you got it. I can tell you that the skies are getting darker here. We will certainly get it too.  I think some people are just too generous with that white stuff!

The wind has returned to Nevada this afternoon with a vengeance, and it looks like it is bringing some rain clouds with it.  We can certainly use the rain, but it'll probably miss us as usual, and at least it is not snow...too warm.

Enjoyed the pictures of your rearranged sewing room, Debbie!  I think some quilted wall hangings would add a lovely splash of color to your space.

Here's to you, Leslie...

Seems like I send this sentiment to you frequently.  You're just special, I guess.

Oh Nancy, I was in CC s%#{ range.  We got the royal treatment, snow and freezing rain on top for most of the night. So I guess CC's aim is quite good! Now they are calling for another 3-5 inches on Wednesday.  I hope this will be ole man winter's last hurray.  I'm ready for biking.

Boy, I go along with MNnancy and Angela. We had snow sputtering at us a little yesterday.  Will I never be able to get out and clean up my flower gardens?   Ginny

The snow has got us again, too.  Jumped out of bed this morning, realizing that I had forgotten to shut the sprinkler system down last night.  Ran outside and ran smack dab into snow falling, and coming down pretty good too.  Where is Spring?

I foresee another day of sewing...certainly no gardening this morning.  I'm sure glad that I didn't plant the tomato plants yesterday...guess I better way until May to plant them.

We woke up to a blue bird day.   It's employee day on the mountain,  Sam and I are the in charge of 2 employee children.   Now Sam has been asked by one of his 9 y-o friends if he would ski with him today, that means his older brother will come, and now Sam has a gaggle of little boys and one little girl to chase him down the hill.  I'm free to ski without worrying someone is going to wiggle off the chair, or ski under my skis, or.......
