EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Today is going to be a very stressful day. Taking DH to VA Hospital for testing and a biopsy. Keep fingers crossed for us that it is something easily taken care of. I'm taking a small lap quilt to finish sewing the binding down. Also a book that I've started. Thanks gang.

You and Bob remain in my prayers. Will be thinking about you guys today. So hope everything turns out ok.
Sad Sad. Ds1 found a dead chick this AM when he went out to feed. I don't know if it was Dd's 'Garbanzo" or Jr's "Bob". All are feeling the heartache.
Tommy cat turned up with a badly swollen front paw last week. He goes off and picks fights with every critter in the county so boo-boos are common with him. He seemed to be feeling much better the other day altho still not baring any weight on the injured digit. Last night he came in and slept with me (Pretty out of character - he comes inside on cold nights, and seaks warm laps but never warm beds) so I was able to get a good look and see that he has an infection. Looks like his dew claw was torn nearly off and it's not healing well. Vets here don't put much effort into mending out-door cats and he's old for a barn cat (6-7). So, rather then being told to put him down, DH picked up a bottle of antibiotic at the farm and ranch supply today. We have enough to dose 25 calves or about 300 cats! LOL
CC have you noticed any feathers in Jenni's mouth??
Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers. Here's the scoop. Very, very small tumor in bottom section of bladder. He'll be going into hospital next month and have surgery to remove it. Dr. says it was so small that one CT view showed it and another didn't. He went in and took a look. Yup, a small one that once removed, that should be it. He'll have to have follow-ups every year after this but it's only a quick 5 minuted procedure so it's not a big deal. Thanks again. It does relieve our minds a lot.
