Thank you Angele. I am so fortunate to have so many good friends who care about me and support me here. I am truly blessed.

Kris, a get together is just what I need, your hugs are the best! They've already cancelled school in Worcester and Boston, will it ever end?
Marie,
they're cancelled here and many patients cancelled appointments.

Our prayers were answered....it poured here yesterday and most of the fire is out...on my way to work yesterday before the rain started I could see the Blackhawk helicopters carrying water to the fire ...almost 200 acres and 65 cabins destroyed...such a shame...I heard is was started by someone dumping gas on duraflame logs in a fire place....for those of you that don't know it duraflame logs are self igniting, you don't need a propellant...especially not gas. And in other news ..my nephew is fine he answered me on FB and he's good, fortunately he lives off campus but did try going to class that morning..soon found out the campus was closed. so all is good...have to run...have a dentist appt. and visit to the eye doc to get my new specs

Oh I love the way your Grand kids think Gini. It is easy to see that Princess follows her Grandma's lead in it all, So glad the 2 of you came up with Wil's solution. Ginny
gini: i am so very lucky to live with a man who has had only one depressed minute in his entire life. his glass is not half full it is overflowing,
Gini--your answer certainly tells us why you see the positive, rather than the negative, side of things. I now have to live on the memories my DH imparted. His positive attitude was the best thing that ever happened to me. If I started to lean to the negative side he could pull me out in a hurry. Priceless
Gini--So love to hear of your adventures. I remember the spring well when the big lesson for spring week was my boys learning to run the washer and dryer after my coming home from work on Mon to the sight of piles of wet clothes all over. They were rafting at the neighbors and kept falling in. New deal was they could raft all they wanted as long as they did the subsequent laundry. They were 10 and 6, neighbor's son was 11 and his mom was there in case of emergencies.

DD's removal of stent and stone went fantastic! She is home and resting. Will take the babies back to her and her DH after naptime. Which is soon. For them and this tired Grammy. I kept waking up every 2 hours last night, almost to the minute. Made me crazy! Finally, stayed awake for the most part at 4:35 . . .
Thought you might like to see a post card that was sent TO me from another swapper. It's a stunner!
Dawn I wake like that naturally . No wonder I'm always exhausted, side affect of med that I'm on for life.
Sukochi, of coarse its not as good as yours , but if i came across it local I would probably buy it.
I can say I'm going to be well stocked up on warm and white, went to Joanns and special ordered 12 yds. Then i stopped in at competitor store which I rarely do because Joanns is my home store. They had it right on the shelf and i got 6 more yds. Now i don't have to worry about being battingless!
IS, so sweet of you to say, but, I know that I have a long way to go to match her level. We must crawl before we can walk.....
That's a LOT of batting. But, it is sure my batting of choice.
When you rotary cut wool and tweed, on your cutting mat, it traps all sorts of fibers in tne mat. So, I took my Magic Eraser to it, then ran the lint remover over it. Looks like a new mat and no lint or thread bits anywhere.
Got the fronts of two cards, and one complete card ,done today. So, I am moving right along. And having a really good time, but there is a huge learning curve!
Great news, Dawn! Now you rest up and take it easy.
WOW Sukochi, it sure is!
Cards I made today.
