Just heard on FOX News. There is a large fire in the Pigeon Forge, TH area. HAs had cabins and one resort burned to the ground. Very scary.
UCF, (Univ. Of Central Florida in Orlando), had a guy with bombs and guns in a dorm. He killed himself before doing anything to hurt anyone. Praise God.

the fire in pigeon forge is bad...when I left work yesterday the plume of smoke was very close to my store and I could see it for miles as I was driving home.....and thank God that crazy at ucf did not have a chance to do anything...my nephew goes to ucf

Oh, Jennifer. So sorry to here that you are in the eye of the fire. That must be so scary. You and in my thoughts and prayers that God keeps you and your store safe from the fire.
Do you know if this nutcase was in your nephew's dorm?? I thank the Lord that all are safe. And that he had the good sense to kill himself, rather then others.

Sukochi, I agree those are very pretty postcards! Did I read that these were for someone to send out? They are so pretty that I would want to have them transferred to fabric and make a Spring time quilt with your designs. Is that even possible? You are so crafty and me....not at all. Great work!!

Gini, you know how to live is all I can say! Can you send me some of that knowledge? There is so much negativity from some of my family members and also so much joy from other members, how do you balance it all out? I'm trying to focus on Tyler, who is a joy and My younger DS who is planning a Feb. wedding in Puerto Rico next year which is a joy as well. My two other children are in a bit of crisis mode asking me for emotional support and I can't bring myself to refuse them. Sigh! What to do to keep sane, sigh! Should I post this or not??? Yes, I need the support of my friends here and now. My DH is gone, thanks for letting me vent.

The fire in Pigeon Forge has so far destroyed over 30 cabins and still going. We're getting some thunderstorms right no so hope it helps the firemen get it under control.
