NO time to post much, but I wanted to pop in and let Joyce know that she is in my prayers during this difficult time. It's ok to break down, honey! We all have that moment where we have to. Then we can be strong again for those around us.
Know that your QCA family is here for you with virtual hugs and heavy prayers!

Hello Is and all the QCA group. Wanted to update you my MOM went to be with the Lord last night. I got a call from the hospital about 2:30 am that she had gone. I wasn't expecting it this quick. They kept saying 24 to 48 hours. But I did spend the day with her yesterday and said my goodbyes. She knew I loved her. So today has been spent going to the funeral home, the nursing home to pick up some photos & important things, her clothes I donated to other patients there that might need them. We will have a viewing tomorrow here in Md. for a short one then Sun. the funeral home will transport her back to W.Va. for the funeral there on Mon. Thank you all for your prayers. Right now I feel like a zombie so I'm going to try to lay down if the phone will let me. ha God Bless you all.
Joyce

Bless you , Joyce. I am lad you got to spend time with your Mom yesterday. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I agree with Nan. Take time to let yourself grieve and get some rest. Ginny
Joyce, my heart goes out to you. It is terribly painful for a woman to lose her mother. I wasn't even close to my mother, but her passing liked to have done me in. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Don't try to fight the grief from happening, just go with it. There are 5 stages of grief. Lay your weary head in God's lap and let him pat your head. He is there for you in this time. He has brought your mother home. Oh, I can only imagine how full of life and joyful she must be there in heaven. As much as I have to do here on earth, I can not wait to go to heaven. I want to sit at the feet of Jesus and just talk with him. Listen to him.
Get the arrangements done, go in your room, cry your eyes out, then get back to your life. Do what you love most, spend time with those you love most. And, be happy. Your mom would want that for you.
Joyce, She is as you said with the Lord. In her celestial body and not in any pain anymore. you will grieve for quite a while. i still miss my dad tremendously. take your time each day and breathe. My heart felt prayers are with you during this time.
Joyce, sorry to hear about your mom. But she's with Jesus now and we can only imagine the happiness she feels. You need to grief because you are human. May our loviing God comfort you and give you peace. Hugs to you.
