Today DH and I spent half the day at the hospital with my mom.  Finally talked to the dr. and mom is declining.  Talking about hospice and a feeding tube.  Her white blood count is very high, she has pneumonia, sepsis, UTI and can't swallow.  All these things together the dr. doesn't know if she will stand the surgery for a feeding tube.  She had been sedated last night as they have to do a deep suction on her every few hours.  Called my DB in NC and gave him all the info. not sure if he is coming up or not.  I really don't want to make these decisions alone.  But I have made them all the past 2 years.  Just praying that the Lord won't let her linger and suffer.

Then yesterday I dropped a bottle of diet coke on my big toe and had it xrayed today.  No fx. but I'm in a shoe/boot until the lump goes down and my reg. shoe won't be so uncomfortable.  I have always been such a graceful gerty. ha

I am surprised that there aren't more jelly roll patterns available. These rolls are great if one has problems cutting strips. Does anyone know of a good resource for log cabin patterns using jellies?

Thanks,

Ardis

Try not to lose it til you know for sure which one it is.  I know it's hard though.  I'm hoping the anitbiotics will knock it outta there in no time, and you won't have a thing to worry about.

Oh poor Joycie,  I am sorry to hear about your Mom's declining condition and the fact that you dropped a diet coke on your toe.   I will put you in my prayers, hopefully your brother will be able to come or that he will at least give his blessing to the decisions you have to make.  Stay strong.    Ginny

If its cancer I think she'll be on doggie hospice.  almost in tears again everyone always told me the smaller dogs can live 15 years.  I think i'm beggining to lose it.  Does anyone say I don't love my dog.  I think its clear.  Thanks for your prayers for both of us.

Is I'm hope it's not cancer. Just try to relax until you know for sure. I know it's easy to say but hard to do. I'll keep you in my prayers.
