Ok, sinus infection. Got drugs for that.

Jim had his 2nd post op appt. from his cataract surgery. A problem. His vision is deteriorating instead of improving. He has this condition called Posterior Capsule Opacification. Will recheck in three weeks. If it has continued to get worse, he will need a Ng: YAG Laser Posterior Capsulotomy in both eyes. If it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen to US!

All is well though. Jim took a couple pieces of pineapple upside down cake, that he made yesterday ,to Ron and Lea. Ron emailed raving about how great it was. I replied that he owes us $27,000. for that cake, and that we would be more then happy to take a check.

Think I'm finally (keep your fingers crossed) over the sinus infections. My follow up appointment isn't until next Friday and a lot can happen between now and then.

FRiday I had an appt. with a specialist neurologist. I am not getting Parkinsons. He  feels that all the tremors and other symptoms are directly related to injuries sustained in my car accident. He is surprised that I can have episodes in spite of not skipping doses  of my meds. I'm also loosing my core strength which is why I can no longer stand/sit straight. Next month my regular neurologist is going to do some testing for my perception, dizziness, vertigo, etc. See why I'm falling, dropping things, getting blurred vision, and running into doorways. My perception is off and I didn't do well on their testing. In spite of this, they feel I can continue to live on my own because I have enough people who look in on me, someone cleans for me, etc.

OK now I'm tired and I'll catch you up on my sewing room remodel another time. Also on Indy's health.

Hugs.

Sukochi you are a trip girl.  No one can make all those problems sound so trivial & humorous.  Sorry about Jim's eyes wil pray for him.  Also good you are on meds for the sinus infection.  I'm still fighting and sick with one also.  Been on the antibotics since Fri.

I have a ???.  I received my Mailbox Surprise and I'm trying to figure out how to post a pic of it.  I clicked on I received MB S but there isn;t a place to post a new msg.  So I thought I would post as a reply on Kristen's but then I clicked on the little media thing and it looks all wrong.  I don;t want to send the pic all over the web just to QCA.  Help what do I do?

I would love a piece of that cake but it sure is gourmet I have to eat at Po Folks.  Does sound good.

Sukochi, I've been Sichuan for about three weeks. It started in my sinus, then went in my chest.  Today was the first day where I could take deep breaths .  I still feel nauseous when I get up but now it disappear fast. I pray that you get better soon.  I pray also that Jim's vision improves soon.

Thea please listen to your body! Suffering from OA makes you susceptible to all the weather changes.  My MIL vas affected by it too. I pray that a way to relieve that pain is soon discovered. That way you could dance with all your grands and sew to your heart's content.

Joyce, I love Po Folks. First time we ever ate at one, our DS was 4 years old. It was in Greensboro, NC. He had on a Me and My RC t-shirt. They had this big ole tub ,filled with ice, right inside the door with RC Cola's in it. One look at that T-shirt and they gave DS a free RC. He was SO happy! Do y'all know what an RC Cola is?? Royal Crown, baby! Jim had cooked this cake in his grandmother's cast iron skillet so it was totally awesome. His grandmother died in the early 70's and she had used it when Jim's Mom was a little girl. Lotta history in that ole skillet.

Click on the little filmstrip in the message box.  Now click on browse and find the pic you want to post.  Double click on the pic.  Now click on post or save whichever comes up at the bottom of the browse box.  Now wait until the pic shows in your message box.  Now you can click on post and your pic will show on the site.

Oh, Sukochi, they are the best  cakes I have ever eaten. We do them when we go camping or cook-out, my family and friends love them. I have had apple and peach, also.  YUM !  My DH usually is the one to cook them, too.    Susan

Thanks Nana I did finally get a photo up now where it landed is anybody's guess. ha  I will get this stuff down one day.  Hope you all don't mind putting up with my pics flying who knows where.  I tried to post something to my gallery but it came up as a # instead of my title.  I will give it another try.  I did do part of the process correctly.  I think my pic are under my home page.

Why is everybody repling to my personal email with their own agenda.  I asked people to reply to my personal email only with the information that I asked about the quilt pattern.  I am not interested in the rest of the stuff you guys are talking about.  Please don't flod my email with your personal stuff.

okay - need some prayers for the OG&E guys to start working fast as they can... I have a tiny generator that only charged my modem so I could come on line - I tried to power my tiniest heater to no avail - not enough juice - guess I need to purchase a bigger tiny generator... Anyway, power went out at 10 last night and the house is freezing - I am in my pink long johns that I got from that pajama place - I am feeling the cold even through them - the bed was nice and warm all night with all the quilts on top but I couldn't stay there any longer the pain is tremendous - have taken my pain meds but without my heating blanket on me and hurting pretty bad.

We called the power outage in last night and got told the crews were not going out till 7 am this morning - I was aghast - used to live next to RG&E guy back in NY and any power outage what so ever and he was up and gone in his big truck to take care of it - I am sorry but I am not happy about this - guess they think everyone can afford those big expensive generators to run their houses on when the power goes out... nope can't afford one -

It stopped snowing about 2 am so there really is not excuse for them not to be out... oh well - I hope they get it fixed soon before my body totally gives out - I don't even think at this moment that we could make it the 3 miles to the ER to get help - I know if we tried we would just sit down there in pain and uncomfortable with all the others there for hours and then they would tell me there is nothing they can do except give me a pain shot and to go back home.... So I will sit here and suffer and for the moment whine to my friends on QCA...

I have to charge my Kindle and Jay's - doing his first - then at least I can make a quilt tent in my chair and sit underneath it warming it from my body and read... I even might get the penguin pattern for a mckenna ryan quilt and start copying the patterns - should take my mind off my miseries...

Now that my whine is over I am smiling - see what little it takes to get me to smile... DH is still cozy in the bed - leaving him there as no sense in both of us up and miserable... it is sunny and pretty outside - the ground is covered with snow - not as much as we got with that snow storm last year as DH won't have to shovel us out this time... oh my... what to do... wish one of the little heaters would be powered by this generator but am not sure how long I have with even it - so need to get the kindle charged so DH has something to read and see what I can find to do to take my mind off this cold...
