Dawn your DGD is adorable. I hope you realize how lucky you are to have the previledge to spend time with her.

MNnancy: Donna B:...but the deer are finding little shoots of grass coming up and are having a feast (small, but at least it is green)....the more warm weather we have, the sooner the ground will warm up and we will start losing trails. Interesting that even near the Cascade Mountains of Washington, spring comes sooner than in Minnesota. If April looks and feels like spring here, we feel fortunate. Trees won't leaf out until May, and I don't dare plant annuals until Memorial Day. I'm retired. Why do I live in Minnesota?

MNancy, you and I know that seeing lilac blooms before mid May is somewhat of a miracle! I guess we can always enjoy everyone else's flowers as they appear and they are willing to share them with us.
happy valentine's day to everyone. me and my sweetie spent the morning skiiing, it was a bluebird day, the snow was hard and fast, just the way i like it. now i'm a tuckered girl and wishing sweetie would hurry up dinner so i could go to bed.

I was too tired to cook tonight, so we had Chinese from M&M meats. DH got wine, but since I still take cough medicine, I passed on the wine and took chocolate instead... Just about ready to go to bed so I can go to work again tomorrow. I just hope that with this three day weekend I will get over this quickly. So family day on Monday. There are all kinds of activities planned for families, free skating, curling, swimming. Some outdoors games. As we have no kids at home, I might just be selfish and spend some time sewing....yeah!
Marie ,yes I do SID to anchor my quilts. Your quilt is just to darn cute. I looked at it and will give it some thought as to quilting it. but since it is for a child and they will grow with this you are going to want something that is going to wear will for a long time. Barbara

Marie:Well, I've had a busy day frogging, adding another border to make the baby's quilt 10" bigger on all sides, and making the sandwich so it's ready for quilting.
I like the changes Marie. No additional input on quilting it from me.
Dawn:Here is our DGD3! First pic is us making pizza, she got the hang of spreading that crust pretty well! Then this is her artwork she created! She will be 4 next month!
Such a cutie. Looks a bit like you.
