Thank you Karla and Christine. You are very kind.
Julienne - Mid Missouri
I have been working on a quilt. I wanted to make a quilt for raffle for our local wildlife rescue program. I was trying to come up with a American Kestrel design, but that was taking too much time. But I do have the pattern for a large sandhill crane and am doing that. I bought fabric I was very pleased with and brought it home, but when I looked up the bird, realized that the fabrics were too dark. So I had to purchase some more. Now have some I like. But what to do for the back ground? Decided on that and tried a few ideas, and made adjustments in the size of the pieces and some of the fabrics. That is almost together, and I have cut the pieces for the bird. This weekend I hope to get it together. Then I will have to decide on the border and how to quilt it.
Posted question on nephews quilt so i guess i'll transfer design from book onto tear away then sew on nephews quilt as i don't have any other ideas to get it from book page to quilt since its already sandwiched.
