Elizabeth:

Karla:

I made an e-book cover today for practice.  It matches the large bag I made the other day...made it from scraps.   I didn't do a very good job on it, think the fusible interfacing I used was a little too heavy as it was awfully hard to turn the small pieces right side out.

Karla I love this.  Where did you get the pattern?

It's a Whistlepig Creek Production pattern #1203 E-Cozy.  It includes directions for 4 e-cozies, 2 different sizes of the one I made (which was the smaller one) and 2 e-cozy bags with shoulder straps.

Karla,  what pattern did you use to make your purses with the grommets?   They look fairly simple.  Ginny

Just relaxing today.  DH had surgery to repair menicus on right knee and can't put any weight on it so I'm playing nurse.  Hot here today, almost 90 so good day to stay in and watch movies.  Under Siege with Steven Seagal.  Did get my table topper sandwiched and ready to quilt.  First time to quilt something so little nervous, just straight seams so not that hard.

I went walking today and then got a new stereo in my 16 year old car so that I can play my own CD-r's in there without scratching the originals up. I think it would have been cheaper to have just bought more cd's. Oh, well. I am too tired to work on my quilt that is almost done, then I can do my other small projects and off to work on a friends quilt I am making her.  I wish I could learn how to get my quilt pictures on here in a small size. Any ideas?

LEAVENWORTH LADIES  I finally finished my row quilt.

Very nice Elizabeth.  I actually got my rows out and put them up the other day.   My goal will be to finish it before retreat in Oct.

It looks great, Elizabeth!  I've not worked on mine yet though I did pull lots of fabrics that will coordinate with it.

That's a good idea, Patti.  Maybe I should set that same goal.  Of course, I haven't quilted the leaf quilt from the year before, either.
