Agnes - your mug rugs are beautiful.  Almost too pretty to use but am sure they will be appreciated.

You rock, lady!

Agnes, what a great idea for those small scraps.  They look so cute.  There are some talented people on this site.  Getting my sewing area a little more organized.  I have to many projects started and to many I want to start.  Did I mention I have a lot of tops I need to finish off?  Geez.  I have several piles of material I want to do RIGHT NOW!  But I have so many unfinished projects I need to finish first.

Got the Accuquilt machine.  Wouldn't you know that the cutters I bought are just a 1/4 inch bigger than my Big Shot.  I have gotten a few cutter quilts off EBAY and I really want to get started making a quilt and then appliqueing my cutters onto it.  Has anyone done this before?

Ibuiltaquilt:  Check on Ebay.  I sometimes find older material on there.

Agnes:

I have been FM quilting a quilt I got layered and spray basted in Feb. It's nowhere near ready to share. I will share my mug rugs. I still have five more to finish. I have actually used up all the scraps from this batch of 35 floral fabrics thanks to Marge P. The rest of the pieces are either waiting to be quilted or still in piecing mode.

Oh, I remember Northcott's flower of the month fabrics.  Gorgeous!

These are so pretty, Agnes.  Sweet.

Woo Hoo I got my pinwheel quilt finished.  Not only did I do triangles and scrappy (for NANA)  I did the design myself.  I wanted the quilting to show so I used King Tut varigated Chariot of Fire.

Elizabeth, nice looking quilt.  I like the blue in it.  It really sets it off.

Marge P - your wall hangings are very cute. Somewhere  I have a set, I think #5. I only did about three of them, I was very disappointed in the fabrics that came with most of them. I loved the original fabrics, but the selections the quilt shop made didn't suit me. I also wasn't thrilled when I figured out what these cost me. OUCH! I won't do another BOM unless I strike oil in my backyard. LOL. I am in the process of moving my sewing room so maybe I'll find these kits and get back to doing them.

I do have my machine set up and am working on quilting the border for my DIL's quilt. I am on vacation for 3 days and have plans that would kill 3 people so it remains to be seen if I can finish it this week. Sure would be nice if I could finish their wedding quilt before their 3rd anniversary!

Elizabeth--Lovely job on both quilts but really love the pinwheel one. But then I am very partial to the pinwheel block.

Thank you Agnes.  My sister makes them all the time and this is my first one!  I did not even see the secondary pattern until I looked at the picture.  I am now making one in flannel for my as a lap quilt.  I love your mug rugs the colors really speak to me.

Elizabeth. Love your quilts. The quilting looks great. I really like the  King Tut thread for quilting.
