Been wondering about you, Glad to see that you are still with us,
I know I posted this one some time ago but I finally got the borders on and its ready to quilt
The next one is a Carol Doak pattern. It has taken me forever, but I have to get the blocks put togeather I have an offer of help taking the paper off if I make lunch. nothing wrong with that offer. Notice it is one block. only 100 in the quilt.
and finaly, the one I was working on in Washington. bigger than a king I think its 120 x 120 and I did a SID on my domestic. So, it CAN be done.
Wow Vivian, love them all and glad to see the finish Leavenworth quilt it came out beautiful. Love the first one could you share the name of the pattern?
thanks for all the compliments on the quilt. The top was complete in the early 90's I think by my sisters MIL. I had to redo a couple of seams and take off lots of paper from the back. This is the second top that I have completed. Next project of hers is Dresden plate blocks. It is in my UFO pile. I am feeling great have gotten two UFO's done in two weeks. The third is on the longarm. #2 will wing its way to Germany for Quilts of Valor today.
Here is another UFO finished. It is a Quilt of Valor unfinished from Sept. 2012. It is winging its way off to Germany today. Also the case that goes with it.
Its from Fabric Trends, summer 2010, Jacobean Elegance
Vivian, gorgeous quilts! Lots of great work went into them, especially the Carol Doak!
Vivian, so glad to see your king quilt from Leavenworth completed. It is gorgeous! You did a beautiful job and on a huge quilt (Nana will be proud of you...lol).
I really like the other two quilts too. Very nice...
Nice quilt Elizabeth. I tend to want to make things too complicated with many different angles, but I can see from yours that a simple 9 patch can be very beautiful.
Vivian, nice work. I love your bedroom, the quilt, chest, bed frame, picture behind it. Mine is all clutter and chaos.
Vivian, the Carol Doak pattern is beautiful. again, very nice work.
Beautiful quilt, gorgeous room. You got class lady
Vivian, beautiful quilts
Elizabeth another beauty
Patti: Mine is all clutter and chaos.
Mine is only that way because it is the size of a football field and i have a huge walk in closet that i can huck everything in and close the door. . I think the room was supposed to be two but the builder left it as one. plus if Im going to take photos, its going to be tidy!!
My current project is a Triple Irish Chain. I work on it every night after I close the store I own.
