Marge P:I have finished 6 of the "Patchabilities" monthly hangers.
Love these Marge. Especially the March flowers. I have a bunch of 12"x12" packets by Amber Fenton that I keep intending to make.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Brigit-Carol:OK, this is my last purse,
Very nice I love your colors.
Brigit-Carol:Thank you -- I can't believe how much I'm enjoying making them.
Does it cost any money to join the quilting board? The purse looks great.
Sure did - only a few pieces on foundation paper blocks - try to sew a little each day.
Donna, Ginny and Marge, how nice to have the same board! My only problem is the "hump" that goes across it but hoping some handyman out there in QCA land will solve my problem. I got my board as a shower gift in 1958. They built things to last back then.
MargeP, love your little quilts
Marge, your Patchabilities are adorable! Your hexie table runner is gorgeous! Is there a pattern you used or do you make it up as you go?
Judy, that is a pretty quilt
OOPS, Patti, I missed you! We have our own little "Ironing Board Club".
Karla, you too, join us in our club!
Judy, your charm square quilt is very pretty, love the colors!
Weezee, the purse pattern is free from Missouri Star Quilt Co. Jenny Doan's videos on youtube. I forgot what it's called. Maybe Brigit will post the name of it. It's from a charm pack and you can make three of them from one charm pack plus 3/4yd. of fabric for the straps and lining.
Here's the video for making the totes from charm packs. It's a quick pattern. I made these as favors for my daughter's bridal shower and was able to get 3 done each day. But I didn't put the button on the top as Brigit-Carol is doing.
I got mine as a wedding gift in 1956. We have an old ironing board club. Wha hoo! Ginny
Ginny, I got mine as a wedding gift in 1960
Ginny:I got mine as a wedding gift in 1956.
Can you imagine what a young woman today would say if she received an ironing board as a wedding present!! LOL
