Sure glad that I got the risers for my table, made the job a whole lot easier.  If I didn't have them, I would still be trimming next Friday.

Karla - I know what you mean, put my table up on risers and what a back saver it is.  I'm thru with amost half of the HSTs.

Im still working on Dsis quilt . Its been a frustrating chore and I cannot wait for it to be finished. Its in brown and beige neutrals so its boring to me. Its a Courthouse Steps -Twist Pattern and for some reason the blocks are not all fitting together like the pattern. I have had  an experienced quilter look at it and she cannot figure it out either, so I am laying it out a little differently then the pattern calls for. It may be that the pattern is wrong ,who knows. It will be pretty when its all done, Im sure, and hopefully she will love it and not know its been altered. Finished piecing my baby quilt and it is sandwiched and ready to be quilted. The baby girl is due end of next Month so after quilting and putting  on ruffle and binding  it will be ready when she is.               Susan

Mimi:
It sure is easier to fit the quilt to the baby when you know the "flavor."

Quilt is cute. Perfect for a child.

I don't know what, but today I am going to finish something...at least one thing before I start a new project.

See, Gini, I'm not the only one who appreciates a taller cutting table!  No more teasing at the next retreat!

Do you have a shirt that needs a button sewn on?  Then you could say that you had finished one thing so you could start a new project.  LOL

Hey, so far I've done 9 blocks on my Log Cabin and it's only 3 pm here in Nevada.  I'm on a roll.

Lovely baby quilt and will do nicely regardless of the "flavour".  I just don't seem to be able to decide what quilt to work on -- have four in the works plus the blocks for the State swap.  So... made another purse today and have half of another done.  I found some fabric at Hobby Lobby last week that just called to me.  It's purple and turquoise paisley shot through with gold.  I really don't like purple but this one just reached out and grabbed me.  The purple purse will be given away and I might just keep the turquoise one to use to carry stuff to -- well, wherever I might be going that I need to carry stuff. :)

Love, love, love your purses.  I hear the fabric calling to me too.  I try hard to run the other direction but it keeps calling and calling until I pick it up and take some home.  I'm a sucker for pretty fabric.

Purple is my favorite color and purple and turquoise is one of my favorite combinations, so if you don't find a home for the purse, I'll send  you my address.
