Patti, I love both your hat styles!  Fun fabrics, too!

No, trying to clean house a little. Our DS, DIL and two little DGS are in town for DIL's grandfather's funeral.  Been six months since we seen the boys, Oli is almost 3 and Niles is 6 months so very excited.  quilting will have to wait till Mon when they go back home.

No quilting so far today, but then it is only 8 am here in Nevada.  Plan to finish trimming up those HST's for MQ8, and maybe make a few more Log Cabin blocks...but DH and DGS will probably have other plans for my expertise today...like parts runs since they're working on DGS's truck (he's only 14 and has 2 years to get it running but you know how men are).

Linda

What brand of spray do you use? I wanted to try some.

I had to go get the can since I didn't even know!! It is Krylon Easy-Tack Repositionable Adhesive 7020. It even says on the can low odor. Give it a try and let me know how you like it.

Yesterday I managed to quilt and get the binding on one of the quilts going to the AZ retreat center. Just have to sew the binding to the back. I also completed 2 more mini quilts for the Amish retreat with the exception of sewing the binding to the back. The rest of the afternoon I'm putting up my swollen feet and doing some hand sewing. Well, maybe a little nap first.

I finished Step three of MQ8 today. So tomorrow I really hope to finish step 4 and be up to date! I also need to get a baby quilt quilted and clean my house! Hmmmm I wonder what I'll do first... ;-).

I've finally gotten out of my funk and made a quilt top.  Of course I totally need this to be finished by the end of next month although I don't know if this colleague will be able to wait that long before she delivers her 4th.  We are all so hoping she will finally have a little girl.....but she doesn't want to know which kind of baby she will be having. It sure is easier to fit the quilt to the baby when you know the "flavor."

Love your baby quilt, Mimi!   Pretty colors.  Did you see in Show & Tell that Yvonne made a Curious George quilt too - only in blue tones.

Spent my whole day trimming the HST's to 2" squares, but, alas, I am finished with Step 4.  I have never spent so much time trimming squares, what a job.  Sure glad that I got the risers for my table, made the job a whole lot easier.  If I didn't have them, I would still be trimming next Friday.

Well, at least that is done and now I can get down to work on some of my other unfinished projects,  Went to the LQS yesterday and came back with a couple of new projects, but promised myself I would not start them until a couple of these UFO's are finished.  LOL, it's a good thought anyway.

That certainly is a wonderful quilt that Yvonne made.  I love Curious George too.  Thanks for the link.  Thanks too for your kind words for my quilt. The pattern was free from CC but all the fabric came from my stash.  I was surprised how much I love polka dots.
