I have spent the last four days designing and putting this quilt together.

Can't wait to quilt it tomorrow it is a gift for one of my teachers. His wife is expecting in June.

Wendy, your quilt is adorable. Good job.

I'm working on so many quilts at once that I think I'm lost. I have 2 quilts ready  to be quilted. I'm almost through with the binding on my Christmad quilt. I made the front and back to grandson Quinn so it's ready for batting....there lies my problem. I was piecing the batting which I've done a thousand times. But this time the seams are getting a rippling effect and I can't get them to smooth out. Any Suggestions would be greatfully appreciated.

Nice quilt Wendy.

Yesterday, I finally caught up with our LQS block of the month.  Hey, this may be the first time I actually finish a block of the month with others.

Today I work until 2, then home to sew!   And probably clean something in this house.

Here is the finished quilt top for Quilted Hugs From Maddie. Will be donated Apr. 23RD. The third row is orange. Color looks light red here. And, bottom border is orange, as well. This was a very quick and easy quilt. Now, to quilt it.

Lovely projects, everyone.

I haven't made a quilt, but did make my first bucket purse.  I think I ended up frogging almost every seam before it finally got finished, but I learned a lot and have already started on a second one.  I don't carry purses this large, but thought they would do as great gifts or for swaps as they primarily use scraps.  The tutorial can be found on the Missouri Star Quilt Site under "charm purse".
