gini:

http://selvageblog.blogspot.ca/2012/07/vermont-show-quilts-continued.html

check the first quilt in this blog.  scroll down to the quilted swallows,  incredible.

And the butterflies!  Amazing...

But did you notice further down the quilt titled "Looking Out - My Lunchtime View"?  My dentist's office has a very similar one in their office that was made by a friend in Chelan. (I think it is even better!)  I am going there in a few minutes, will take a picture and post it this afternoon (assuming there are no objections of course).

As promised, here is a picture of a quilt hanging in my dentist's office made by their friend, Barbara Gallaher of Manson, Washington.  It is so similar to the one in the Vermont Quilt Show, but now that I have seen it again in person, I like it even better.

Would you believe, she doesn't even have a label on this beauty!!!  What a shame!!!

Donna, that is a nice quilt.  and a dental office is a good place for it.  It's hard not to feel peaceful looking at it, even in a dental office!

Sukochi, I love the beginning of your quilt.  A great way to use up fabrics.

Karla, I hope to see your quilt finished soon. It really looks yummy.

I scaled the pattern down and made a smaller version of the chicken pin cushion today...turned out OK but his tail feather were upside down so I just cut them off.

Tonight I started Step 2 of MQ8, but after sewing so precisely (not really my forte), I decided it is not something that should be done with tired eyes, so I quit and I'm going to bed...I will start again tomorrow.

I finished a Moda Candy project this morning.  I used Moda's Paris Flea Market to make this table topper...
